"A Celebration of Carols"
by Joseph Martin
Sunday, December 14 @ 9:00am and 11:00am
Come join the choir in a celebration of the beautiful Christmas story that began long ago in the very heart of God. "A Celebration of Carols" is a Christmas Musical Celebration of the awe and mystery of God with us. With the hearing of winter's first treasured song, we are gradually gathered from the noise of our daily enterprise and drawn into the hopeful sounds of Christmas. With great expectation we begin to decorate our days with the sights and songs this blessed season and prepare our heart for the warming candle of Christ's birth. With reverence we take from the closets of our heart the special memories of Christmas past and place them thoughtfully in our homes like sacred relics. Our place of worship reverberate with the time-honored carols of our faith and we remember that we are loved. Come joins us and be reminded of Christ's mercy and grace. As you hear the timeless story, may your grasp home with all of your heart and experience the rich abundance that is the true gift of season. Let Christmas begin!
Everyone is encouraged to wear their name tags every Sunday (if you're comfortable doing so). If you need a name tag, please see Tim or Helen Slicker or put a note in the offering and we will make one for you.
